Appoints Steve Kahan as its new Vice President of Marketing and Product Management.

The Planet-EV1Servers, announced today that it has tapped Steve Kahan as its new Vice President of Marketing and Product Management.

The company says that, bringing more than 20 years of technology industry experience, he will take the helm to lead the strategic marketing direction of the company. Kahan joins the company just after its announcement of Kevin Klausmeyer as CFO and Joseph Horzepa as General Counsel, all joining Erwin as the core executive leadership team. Together, their primary objective is to strategically grow the company and to establish it as the premier Webhosting Powerhouse.

Kahan was most recently President and CEO of Alert Logic, which provides IT network protection for small and mid-sized businesses. Previously, he served as Vice President of worldwide marketing for BindView Corporation, a provided of security policy compliance.
