Adopts Continuous Data Protection; provides data protection to shared hosting customers as a standard value-added service.

Uniserver Internet, a enterprise and SaaS hosting provider, today announced that it has partnered with R1Soft, the developer of Continuous Data Protection for Linux and Windows, to offer a value-added data protection service for its clients.

The company states that as a member of R1Softs Hosting Partner Program, Uniserver Internet gains access to a variety of sales and marketing resources, in addition to technical support and pre-release software updates. It avers that R1Soft works with its hosting partners to help them maximize their return on investment and effectively deploy Continuous Data Protection.

It explains that it will offer Continuous Data Protection as a value-add service for dedicated server and shared hosting clients. The service will be provided at no charge for shared hosting users and dedicated hosting clients will have the option to purchase data protection in increments as needed. Dedicated Server users can restore files individually or execute a bare-metal restoration of their entire server from a restore point.
