Elevates features on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 platform for its viaVerio Reseller Partners; also announces new email capabilities for MultiSite.
Verio Inc., a provider of web hosting services, today announced the launch of new hosting solutions and feature enhancements on the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 platform for its viaVerio Reseller Partners.
The company says that, viaVerio resellers can now purchase a variety of shared hosting for Windows plans directly through the viaVerio channel program. Verio's Starter Plan for Windows allows to launch one or two Windows-based websites while the MultiSite for Windows solution provides up to 10 unique sites for resellers or developers and the eStorefront provides users ecommerce and email marketing functionality.
Verio is also launching new email capabilities for its MultiSite for Windows service and for other non-hosted Windows domains. Verio's MultiSite offering provides users the ability to split the resources of an account so that the account owner can manage multiple independent sites. The newly added email enables resellers to offer their customers flexibility with the ability to create, edit and assign sub-domain email addresses for each of the independent client sites. For a limited time, Verio will offer a special promotion to coincide with the launch of Verio's new Windows hosting solutions on viaVerio. Starting today, viaVerio resellers can use new Windows hosting accounts for free for the first 30 days of service.
"With the expansion of shared hosting for Windows and integration of the latest features, Verio is opening new revenue streams for its reseller partners," said John Zanni, Director of Worldwide Hosting at Microsoft Corp. "Microsoft is committed to helping its hosting provider partners address their customer needs. This will place viaVerio reseller partners in the best possible position to take advantage of a customer base that is demanding Windows-based shared hosting solutions for easy access to Microsoft development tools."
"Our resellers will find peace of mind in working with an established partner who can help streamline and consolidate their offerings across all platforms," said Harry Hollines, vice president of channel sales for Verio. "As new features and value-added services on the Windows Server platform continue to evolve, Verio resellers will be able to generate solid growth opportunities by significantly expanding their portfolio of offerings to a broader client base."
