The name change will come into effect in October 2006.

Verio Europe B.V., a wholly owned subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation, today announced that the company will be renamed to NTT Europe Online B.V., in recognition of the changing focus of the company's business. The name change will come into effect in October 2006 and the company has already started managing the change process.

"Our focus on solution led services, partner development and service delivery means that we are now frequently challenging the market leaders in the managed hosting space, providing business critical services to global organisations across a range of vertical markets. The name change is in recognition of our continuing growth within this industry."
