Service helps protect consumers and small businesses from online threats, hackers, viruses and spyware.
Verizon, a provider of communication services, today announced the launch of new a Internet Security Suite that helps provide computer protection for its online customers particularly small businesses.
The suite includes a package of anti-spyware, anti-virus, firewall, parental control, pop-up/ad blocker software, and content management and privacy controls. Verizon claims that in one download, the security suite provides safer surfing, guards against new threats, fights malicious programs, and makes it tougher for hackers to attack. It automatically updates every three hours.
The Verizon Internet Security Suite service is compatible with most standard Internet browsers. The suite of services and can protect up to three computers for $7.95 a month and one computer for $4.95 a month.
