Authorization by SmarterTools, allows company to offer SmarterMail 5.x licenses on a low-cost lease basis.

ViUX Systems, a web hosting and software as a service and other technology solutions provider, today annouced that it has been authorized by SmarterTools to offer monthly leased licenses for all SmarterTools products.

The company states that the SmarterMail 5.0 is the low-cost alternative to Microsoft Exchange Server. It believes that leasing will make SmarterMail a more affordable way for hosting companies and small businesses to provide seamlessly managed e-mail, calendaring, contacts, and task scheduling within internal networks and remotely via the richly rendered Web interface, and even on PocketPC and SmartPhone mobile devices.
