WebFusion, a web hosting company, today announced that it has teamed up with Dell to offer discounts on its dedicated server packages. The company says that for the month of September, both Linux and Windows users can save up to £960 a year with discounted packages starting at £89.99 per month.

It explains that its dedicated servers use Dell's hardware and they are specifically designed for performance with up to 8Gb of RAM and SAS disks, running at up to 15,000rpm. Customers also have access to the company's Tier 1 network, UK-based data centres and managed services, such as a fully managed Cisco firewall. These dedicated servers come with an option of either fully managed or full root level access, providing users with control and flexibility. Unlimited bandwidth and unmetered traffic mean the dedicated servers are ideal for business critical websites, such as e-commerce, travel or local authority sites, claims the company.
