Outperforms all other shared web hosting providers for small businesses for the month of January 2007, according to Netcraft.

Web.com, an ICANN accredited registrar and a provider of web hosting services, on February 7th, 2007, was named the most reliable shared web hosting provider for small businesses by Netcraft, a provider of research and analysis on Internet activities, during the month of January 2007.

To determine reliability, Netcraft measured response times for fifty leading hosting providers sites at fifteen minute intervals from separate points around the Internet and averages are calculated over the immediately preceding 24 hour period.

Web.com leverages the Microsoft platform to offer its customers highly reliable hosting solutions and offers a one-stop shop for web services for customers such as web hosting, website development, web marketing and e-mail.

"Reliability is a critical factor in choosing a web hosting provider. Our monthly rankings provide customers with an independent source for provider reliability, and Web.com outperformed its shared hosting competitors in January 2007," said Netcraft analyst, Rich Miller.
