Websense, Inc., a web security provider, yesterday announced new web security services that identifies threats on the Internet.
According to the company, the Websense ThreatSeeker technology delivers protection from web-based security threats such as antivirus and intrusion prevention systems. Websense seeks out threats on the Internet before customers are compromised and protects customers before patches and signatures are created, using mathematical algorithms, behavior profiling, code analysis and network of data mining machines.
Websense also introduced Websense Web Security Suite version 6.3 and Websense Web Security Suite - Lockdown Edition version 6.3, both powered by Websense ThreatSeeker, include security protection capabilities, reporting enhancements and integration with Citrix Presentation Server for enhanced security in virtualized computing environments.
