Recently acquired Cisco ASA 5500 Series security appliances together with Website Source's DDoS Protection Suite will provide a secure network.

Website Source, Inc., a web hosting company, today announced that it is taking a proactive approach to protect its network against DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks. The Texas-based web hosting company has recently acquired two Cisco ASA 5500 Series security appliances.

The company says that a key component of the Cisco self-defending network, the Cisco ASA 5500 Series will result in increased network speed as well as security performance. Together with Website Source's DDoS Protection Suite, they provide Website Source with one of the most secure networks in the web hosting industry. The Website Source hosting network detects DDoS attacks, diverts data traffic destined for the target device, analyzes and filters data packets and forwards good traffic to maintain business continuity.
