Receives the LinuxWorld Product Excellence Award in the 'Best Integration Solution' category for its Win4Lin Pro.

Win4Lin, a provider of Windows-on-Linux virtualization solutions, today announced that Win4Lin Pro, its flagship product, has won the LinuxWorld Product Excellence Award in the 'Best Integration Solution' category at the Linuxworld Expo.

Based on Virtual Computing Environment (VCE), Win4Lin Pro runs Windows 2000 or Windows XP applications and operating systems with no change to the host operating system. It runs as a Linux process, sharing the Linux memory and file system without yielding control to the Windows guest operating system. Win4Lin Pro runs Windows applications as intended in real Windows, says the company.
