Zen Internet, an Internet service provider, yesterday announced that they have slashed the prices of .eu domains.

The company says that the price of the .eu domain with DNS has been reduced from £49.00 to £24.99 and the .eu 'Domain only' option has been introduced at £14.99. According to Zen Internet, the launch of .eu domains has been very successful, with upwards of 1,322,681 being registered so far.

Iain Johnstone, Sales and Partner Programme Manager at Zen Internet commented: "The .eu domain has become a valuable addition to our domain portfolio. Many customers have already taken the opportunity to register their chosen domain for many reasons including having a pan-European identity, brand protection, and because they could register the exact name that they wanted, rather than having to settle for a derivative."
