Verio Inc., a US-based subsidiary of NTT Communications Group and web host, announced yesterday a hosting innovation for developers of Microsoft Windows applications with the launch of its MultiSite hosting solution.

Verio also recently launched new hosting plans on the Windows Server 2003 platform. Enhancements in the plans include addition of MultiSite services to all shared hosting for Windows plans and Managed Servers for Windows. MultiSite provides the capability to split the resources of an account so that the account owner can manage multiple independent sites, further allowing the users to perform individual stops and starts, view disk usage by site and edit custom permissions. All plans now also include a do-it-yourself tool for easy site construction, and the option to add e-commerce functionality to a site. MultiSite for Windows hosting plans are available with pricing starting at $12.95/month.
