domaindiscount24.com, a German domain registrar, yesterday announced new one year .cn domain registrations at a price of only 3.28 Euro (3.90 Euro incl. VAT). This special promotion ends April 30.

The company is part of the global reseller network of Key-Systems, recently awarded as top European .cn registrar 2006.

Increased marketing activities are the first step in a broad cooperation between Key-Systems and CNNIC, the Chinese registry. This cooperation will result in further .cn specials after the current promotion period.

In addition, the release also said that in 2006 .cn was not only the fastest growing ccTLD but with over 1.8 million registrations it is now ranked as the 4th largest ccTLD in the world.

Part of the promotion are ASCII-code domains also containing third level domains like com.cn, net.cn, org.cn and all 34 regional .cn extensions (bj.cn, sh.cn, zh.cn etc.)
