The Planet Launches April Promotions
 

The Planet, a privately held dedicated hosting company, today announced three new promotions for the month of April, including discounts of up to 43 percent on select servers in the powerful Dual Xeon line. The company states that beginning today and through April 30, 2008, it is offering promotional pricing on new orders of four Dual Xeon configurations. Prices start at $147 per month for the Dual Xeon 2.8 IDE.

The company declared that its Double Down Select also begins today. It also states that with this promotion, customers can choose to double RAM, hard-drive space or bandwidth on new orders of the Conroe 3060 SAS, Kentsfield 3210 SATA or the Dual Xeon 2.8 IDE at no additional cost. Applicable servers will change weekly.

In addition it explains that conversely, customers can choose to double all three components – RAM, hard-drive space and bandwidth – on most servers in The Planet's broad portfolio for $37 on servers priced above $200. For servers priced at $200 and below per month, the cost is $47.

"We're kicking off the month of April with three concurrent promotions so our customers can choose the resources that most effectively meet their business needs," said Urvish Vashi, director of product management with The Planet.
