VIA Networks Launches Intelligent Platforms Solution
 

VIA Networks, a provider of dedicated and managed hosting services, today announced the launch of its Intelligent Platforms Solution. The company states that the Intelligent Platforms provides customers with a complete and integrated solution that includes platform-level support and expertise to help customers improve the reliability and performance of their business applications.

The company articulates that the in order for business applications to run smoothly and reliably, the underpinning elements of network, hardware, operating systems, web servers, databases and software platforms must be integrated and work seamlessly together to create a resilient environment. It adds that this delicate balance between network, infrastructure and software is what it calls Intelligent Platforms. Further it claims that this integrated offering allows internal developers and IT teams to focus on application customization and business process automation, rather than having to spend time on maintaining, updating and upgrading the application environment.
