Smarsh Inc., Announces Completion of Two Acquisitions
 

Smarsh Inc., a managed-service provider of innovative, secure and reliable email-archiving solutions for message compliance and records retention, legal e-discovery and mail server data management, announced today that it has completed the acquisitions of CentraScan LLC, and Financial Visions, Inc.

The company states that CentraScan, a privately held Connecticut company, provides centralized email management and customized, mission critical hosting services to hedge funds and other financial institutions. Financial Visions, based in Lafayette, Calif., is a turnkey website market and has been a provider of site-building, email, and hosting solutions to the financial services industry since 1998.

It also states that Financial Visions' client base currently includes 2,000 advisors in the investment and insurance fields, and the company maintains relationships with many of the leading broker/dealers, carriers and professional associations.
