NetPro Launches Business Insight 3.0
 

NetPro Computing, Inc., a provider of infrastructure optimization software, announced today Business Insight 3.0, an analytics warehouse for more effective management reporting and troubleshooting. The company states that Business Insight 3.0 draws on data across multiple sources and provides more detailed trending and analysis to improve security and compliance within an organization's Windows-based infrastructure including Active Directory, Exchange and SQL.

It avers that using simplified scorecard views and easy to read reports, Business Insight 3.0 integrates audit, security, and identity data from select NetPro and non-NetPro products for consolidated and long-term reporting. Business Insight does not report directly from production databases, IT managers can run complex reports without impacting their production environment, states the company.
 
"In today's organizations, a vast amount of important security and compliance data is stored within multiple applications, making it very difficult and time consuming to correlate and analyze this valuable information," said Brad Hibbert, NetPro's VP of Product Strategy. "And because management applications are forced to purge data regularly to accommodate for volume and performance concerns, trending and analysis of data over time is almost impossible. By bringing it all together in Business Insight 3.0, organizations will improve compliance reporting and speed troubleshooting with historical analysis and trending."
