The Planet Introduces New Planet Alpha Brand
 

The Planet, a privately held dedicated hosting company, today announced the addition of new advanced services to its dedicated servers hosting portfolio. The company states that under a new moniker – Planet Alpha Dedicated Servers – which is devoted exclusively to the dedicated hosting business, customers can select from an even broader spectrum of both servers and advanced services. From single servers and complex hosting solutions that include private and virtual racks, to a full range of leading-brand servers and even more one-hour Ready To Go servers, Planet Alpha provides the precise combination of power, performance and services that customers require for their businesses, says the company.

It explains that the new Alpha Advanced Services are designed to supplement the administration and maintenance of customers' self-managed dedicated servers to create the optimal management plan for their business. It avers that with these new choices, customers can lower their operational costs, and add to or improve the security and availability of their hosted environment. Planet Alpha Advanced Services include server monitoring, security and server administration, it adds.
