SecurePipe Acquires Email Security Division of Mycom
 

SecurePipe, a provider of managed network security services, on Friday announced that it has entered into an agreement with Mycom, a technology products, managed services reseller and software development company, to acquire its mailMAX Managed Services Division and mailMAX email management technologies.
   
Under the agreement between the two companies, Mycom will continue to distribute mailMAX managed services operating as a reseller for SecurePipe, whereas SecurePipe will retain key personnel and engineering staff. According to SecurePipe, this acquisition will position it as a leading provider in the growing market for secure managed email services. The monetary details of the agreement were undisclosed.
