GoDaddy.com, an ICANN accredited domain registrar, today unveiled that it is offering customers to pre-register .mobi domain names before the two-week Landrush registration period opening on 26th September.
 
All customer who register their .mobi domain names through GoDaddy.com get free hosting and a website builder. For customers not ready to build a web site, a .mobi domain name can still be pre-registered and parked with a placeholder page until they are ready.
 
The .mobi TLD launched in May with a two-phased Sunrise registration period. During the Limited Industry Sunrise, members of the mobile industry had the opportunity to register their trademarks as .mobi domain names. During Trademark Sunrise, which began in June and runs until  22nd September., all other trademark holders are eligible to register their trademarks as .mobi domain names.
