SCPanel.net, yesterday announced the public release of their new Hosting control panel, SHOUTcast.

SCPanel is said to be designed to allow web hosts to create and manage SHOUTcast radio servers in a commercial environment. It enables SHOUTcast hosting providers to setup new SHOUTcast servers in seconds and manage the accounts with an unprecedented level of control as per the company.

SCPanel's features also include the ability to restrict SHOUTcast servers by a monthly bandwidth limit, auto-suspend SHOUTcast servers when the bandwidth limit is exceeded, control panel for the end-user, radio usage statistics, start/stop radio and a one-click update system. The tool can be integrated into web hosting control panels such as cPanel, Plesk, Ensim and DirectAdmin or SCPanel can function as a stand-alone SHOUTcast control panel.
