LexisNexis to Host Data for Law Firms
 

LexisNexis, an information solution provider, yesterday announced that its Miamisburg, Ohio data center will take on a role of managing and optimizing servers, networks and software for law firms using NetDocuments, a SaaS-based document management services company, from LexisNexis.

LexisNexis practice management solutions are part of LexisNexis Total Practice Solutions to help lawyers and law firms succeed in the business and practice of law. LexisNexis offerings are designed for the way legal professionals work, including Client Development, Research Solutions, Practice Management and Litigation Services.

NetDocuments Salt Lake City datacenter will provide law firms with two data centers as a platform for SaaS-based document management, extranets, email management, and litigation services. The NetDocuments SaaS model provides law firms seeking a streamlined approach to document and email management, the ability to store documents and emails in a secure globally-accessible repository and eliminate all overhead associated with local management of servers, system and application software, databases, full-text indices, backups, and DMS applications, claims the company.
