IPOWERWEB, Inc., a web hosting provider for SMBs, recently announced that the launch of its new, free WHOIS domain name privacy program for customers.

The privacy program will be offered at no charge to both new customers, and IPOWER's existing customers. WHOIS privacy protects IPOWER customers from having their personal contact information displayed on the Internet for anyone to access. 

"This is an important step forward for Internet privacy," says Thomas Gorny, CEO of IPOWER. "Many people are concerned about having such private information 'out there' for anyone to access. We know that this is a feature that our customers would value and we didn't want to keep it off limits to anyone because of price."
