UltraDNS Corporation, a provider of managed DNS services, recently announced that Amica Insurance, a mutual insurer of automobiles, has selected its managed DNS service to deliver online functionality and network reliability.

By deploying onto the UltraDNS platform, Amica claims that it will improve the reliability and capacity of its online claim-reporting and insurance-quoting services. By implementing UltraDNS' managed services, Amica is also able to protect its customers from Internet security vulnerabilities, including pharming and network threats that could present financial dangers.
