Verio Introduces 360º Managed Private Server
 

Verio, a provider of hosting and managed services for small to midsized companies and partners, today announced its 360º Managed Private Server Version 2, a fully-managed, powerful new hosting solution designed to meet the needs of midsized companies and solution providers with more complex, web-reliant businesses and sites.

The company says that the Managed Private Server combines the benefits of a dedicated server solution with features such as proactive security patches, operating system updates and pre-installed applications. Verio's Managed Private Server solution, based on the FreeBSD operating system, combines server hardware, software and technical support in a fully-managed and dedicated service.

MPS bundles enterprise-level hardware, a highly secure managed hosting platform and managed services into one product for added power and performance. The suite consists of three packages including Basic, Pro and Pro Plus, all with features like, managed triple backup, managed security patches and updates, more than 50 optional pre-bundled software packages, control panel for easy configuration and management, Enterprise-level system administration support, multiple shell accounts for remote access, multiple domain hosting.
